Expansion of Hotel Oasia 2020
At Hotel Oasia we`ve experienced high demand and interest in our boutique and designhotel in the heart of Aarhus. Based on the situation we have chosen to invest in the guest experience and hotel product in 2019 and 2020, so that we can live up to and meet this interest in the future.
In 2019 we completed our fitnesscenter, new reception and bar, as well as 110 m2 of modern meeting facilities. In 2020 we will expand with 2 additional floors, and from our current 65 rooms to 24 new rooms and 2 suites.
However the hotel will remain as a boutique and designhotel focused on; quality, aesthetics, design, service and comfort.
Coherence and harmony with existing design style
In both architecture and material selection we have placed great emphasis in harmony and coherence with the existing building and the hotel’s style. Everything stays in the Nordic design style with clean lines, custom made furnitures, B&O TV and Hästens beds.
The homely atmosphere, decor and facilities will remain the same. But the overall experience should be even better.
During the remodeling in the first months of the year (January, February, March and mid-April) we have limited capacity in our rooms as we have chosen to close the main building. This is to offer rooms that are completely undisturbed from any noise during the construction.
All our facilities will be available during the redevelopment, and we also continue with our weekly arrangements as wine and tapas hour on Mondays and Thursdays.
Important information concerning parking
During the construction period we have a very limited capacity in our parking yard, which is why we made a special agreement with Scandinavian Center Parking approx. 300 meters from Hotel Oasia. This means that we can offer favorable parking prices during stays or meetings/events at Oasia.
During the daytime you can use the entrance at “Banegårdsgade” (see the map below). This will create an easier and faster access to the Scandinavian Center.
Prices and purchase
- The price for one day parking is 135,- DKK (normal price 260,- DKK).
- If you have a meeting or event at the hotel, you can buy a parking ticket during the meeting at 80,- DKK per. car.
During the construction period you are very welcome to contact us to request a parking in our own courtyard. If we cannot offer parking we refer to the above agreement with the Scandinavian Center.
If parking at the Scandinavian Center you can park your car before checking in at the hotel, as you only need a ticket at check-out. You can buy the parking ticket in our reception.
